This project investigates tanycytes, glial cells in the hypothalamus, and their primary cilia, termed tanycilia. It aims to understand how these structures sense nutrients and hormones to regulate metabolism, particularly in the context of obesity and anorexia, using advanced genetic and imaging techniques.
