TAILOMET aims to develop biocatalytic systems for creating customized terpenoids by exploring the effects of methylation on their properties. This project seeks to harness natural enzymes to enable precise modifications, enhancing the pharmaceutical and industrial applications of terpenes.
TAILOMET will explore and exploit the hidden magic methyl effect in nature to develop genetically programmable biocatalytic systems for the production of tailor-made terpenoids.
