The TACOT project aims to integrate secure Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) functions into Digital Tachographs for road transportation. This will enhance vehicle tracking and open new opportunities for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) applications.
The overall objective of the TACOT project is to prepare the introduction and promote the use of EGNOS and GALILEO in the road transportation industry through the addition of a secure GNSS function to the Digital Tachographs (DT) which
