This project investigates how molecular-scale activities influence the material properties of chromatin and their role in nuclear organization. By developing new experimental methods, it aims to connect in vitro studies with intact cell measurements, enhancing our understanding of chromatin dynamics and function.
The main aim of this proposal is to resolve how the physics of molecular-scale activities result in the emergent material properties of chromatin and how those contribute to chromatin organization and function.
