This project focuses on developing a microfluidic platform for high-throughput screening of drug combinations in 3D cell cultures. By enhancing the efficiency of drug discovery, it aims to identify synergistic effects that can improve treatment outcomes for various diseases.
Drug combinations can lead to the discovery of novel drugs by increasing efficacy or lowering toxicity through synergy.
This can boost existing drugs, rescue drug candidates, and accelerate drug discovery for yet poorly addressed diseases.
