SynchInConcert explores the interaction between the heart and breathing rhythms of musicians and audiences during live performances. By analyzing physiological data, it aims to understand how these rhythms affect social interactions and the overall concert experience.
Heartbeats and breathing rhythms are essential to life.
Lab-based research suggests that certain contextual and social factors can impact the interaction between these physiological rhythms, during joint actions such as ensemble playing.
