The SWITCH2STICK project focuses on developing bioinspired adhesive technologies for robotic handling operations. It aims to address scientific challenges and prepare for commercialization in sectors like electronics and automotive, emphasizing energy efficiency and environmental benefits.
Despite intense fundamental research, only few biological inspirations have so far made it to real technical solutions.
