This project investigates the influence of Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs) on companies in Europe and North America. It examines their roles as investors, the types of firms they target, and the impact of their investments on firm value and stakeholder welfare.
This proposal initiates research on the financial and corporate impact of Sovereign Wealth Fund investments in Europe and North America. SWFs are already large and active market players, thus of interest to regulators, economists and stakeholders of firms.
