The Nautical SUNRISE project focuses on developing offshore floating photovoltaic systems to enhance renewable energy production in Europe. By integrating these systems with existing offshore wind farms, the project aims to maximize energy output while addressing space and environmental concerns.
Europe is currently in a transition away from its dependency on Russian gas towards a fully renewable, reliable, and low-cost energy system by 2050.
