SupraBioElectris aims to create innovative hydrogels that mimic cardiac tissue using branched carbon nanotubes and biomimetic peptides. This project seeks to enhance heart repair by developing materials that support the electrical activity of heart cells.
Cardiovascular diseases, including ischemic heart disease, are the leading cause of death in Europe.
