The Superhygiene project aims to create a bacteria-free brush using innovative materials and manufacturing techniques. It focuses on developing a super hydrophobic surface to repel dirt and bacteria, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene.
The main aim of the Superhygiene project is to develop a cheap, innovative 100% bacteria free brush that repels water and grime, ensuring bacteria are given the poorest living conditions.
This will be achieved through in mould tufted filaments using ultrasonic vibration and also through developing a method of achieving a super hydrophobic surface, giving the brush lotus effect, that will help keep the brush head clean, increasing the antibacterial effect.
