This project aims to develop a new, effective sunscreen product that provides broad-spectrum protection against ultraviolet-A radiation. It focuses on creating an affordable alternative to existing filters that degrade quickly, thereby addressing health risks associated with sun exposure.
Drawing on the expertise from the applicants’ publications, wider academic research and recent contact with Lipotec, a global leader in Skin and Sun Care, this MSCA-IF-EF-SE application proposes to develop a novel sunscreen product which will deliver effective, safe and inexpensive broad-spectrum photoprotection.
