This project explores cancer therapy resistance by studying how stress responses in cancer cells influence their adaptability to treatment. By identifying resistant cell states, it aims to develop sequential drug strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness against high-grade serous ovarian cancer.
Cancer therapy resistance is a complex, dynamic process.
Pre-existing heterogeneity in cell states provides substance for evolutionary selection, and their plasticity enables adaptation during the therapy.
