This project focuses on engineering the properties of two-dimensional materials like graphene through strain. It aims to study how applied stress affects their electronic and mechanical characteristics, potentially leading to new functionalities in nanoscale devices.
In the proposed project, I will engineer the electronic and mechanical properties of freely suspended 2D crystals such as graphene by strain engineering.
