This project investigates the adaptive strategies of the critically-endangered leatherback turtle in response to climate change and overfishing. By analyzing migration and reproductive behaviors, it aims to understand the impacts of environmental changes on marine biodiversity and food webs.
There is currently a growing concern about the impacts of climate change, over-fishing and fisheries bycatch on marine environments and natural resources worldwide. A worrying example is notably the jellyfish proliferation to the detriment of other marine organisms in overexploited marine ecosystems.
