This project seeks to develop a new cellular therapy for chronic kidney disease by utilizing kidney mesenchymal stromal cells. The goal is to halt kidney fibrosis and promote tissue repair, potentially restoring normal kidney function.
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) affects 8% of the European population and ultimately results in renal failure due to progressive fibrosis.
