This project addresses the impact of climate change on cultural heritage, focusing on sustainable preservation strategies. It aims to assess and monitor heritage sites while promoting local community engagement and cultural tourism.
Given the fast pace of climate change there is an urgent need to address the threats it poses on cultural heritage (CH) by a holistic framework that will engage scientists, conservators, citizens, creative industries and decision-makers to develop and act on new, sustainable strategies of long-term preservation of CH, as proposed by this project.
