STARSTEM focuses on imaging stem cell engraftment in arthritic joints using advanced nanoparticles for deep tissue visualization. This project aims to enhance the effectiveness of stem cell therapy by enabling real-time monitoring of treatment success.
STARSTEM proposes imaging of stem cell engraftment in arthritic joints of large animals at clinically relevant depths, using nanoparticles with novel optical properties which enable unprecedented penetration depth and sensitivity.
