STARS4Water focuses on enhancing understanding of climate change impacts on freshwater resources at river basin levels. The project develops new data services and models to support decision-making for sustainable water management, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure relevance and practical application.
Worldwide freshwater resources are under increasing pressures of rapidly intensifying climate change effects putting the availability and quality of water resources and socio-economic developments at risk.
