The STABLE_FABRY project aims to enhance the detection of Earth-like exoplanets by developing a novel calibration technique for high-resolution spectrographs. This technique utilizes a broadband Fabry-Perot etalon to achieve unprecedented precision in measuring radial velocity variations caused by distant planets.
The “holy grail” of exoplanet research today is the detection of an Earth-like planet in the habitable zone of a Sun-like star.
