This project aims to develop early screening and intervention strategies for children from low-income families to address learning difficulties. It combines cognitive neuroscience and parent-infant interaction research to identify predictors of language development.
Children raised in families experiencing poverty face significant adversity early in life that puts them at much greater risk of developing learning difficulties.
