This project explores the connection between déjà vu and autobiographical memory, proposing a unified theoretical framework. It aims to conduct empirical studies to validate this theory and enhance understanding of spontaneous cognitive phenomena.
The project focuses on a new theoretical view that I recently published together with my Host supervisor.
According to our continuum hypothesis, two spontaneous phenomena, déjà vu and involuntary autobiographical memories, although studied separately, are actually a result of the same underlying processes.
