SPECTRUM aims to develop a high-speed rail freight service for low-density, time-sensitive goods. By enhancing the performance characteristics of freight trains, it seeks to provide a competitive alternative to road and air transport in logistics.
Modern manufacturing techniques and logistics require reliable, time sensitive delivery of lower density and higher value goods.
