This project aims to study the behavior of hexavalent chromium in polluted groundwater using advanced spectroscopic techniques. The research will support remediation efforts in Greece and enhance the understanding of chromium's environmental impact.
This project has two parallel research objectives to transfer and expand the expertise of the U.S.-based researcher, Dr.
Maria Chrysochoou to the host institution, the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
