This project investigates how Mycobacterium tuberculosis responds to antibiotics within human cells. By employing advanced imaging techniques, the research aims to understand the dynamics of antibiotic action and the influence of different intracellular environments on tuberculosis treatment.
Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), the causative agent of tuberculosis (TB), is an intracellular pathogen that killed 1.6 million people in 2017.
