SPACING focuses on developing advanced technology for creating precisely arranged 3D ligand configurations on nanoparticles. This innovative approach aims to enhance applications in nanomedicine and materials science by mimicking natural structures.
The key challenge of SPACING is to develop a beyond state-of-the-art technology to self-assemble pre-designed 3D ligand configurations with sub-nanometer precision (nanopatterning) onto colloidal nanoparticles (NPs).
