Summary

The SPACEBEAM project aims to design and test an innovative radar receiver for Earth observation. This receiver will utilize a photonic integrated circuit to enable flexible beamforming and down-conversion of signals, enhancing the capabilities of satellite systems for monitoring the Earth.

Objective

SPACEBEAM aims at designing, realizing and testing an innovative radar receiver that will enable the concept of reconfigurable multi-beam Scan-on-Receive Synthetic Aperture Radar for Earth observation applications.
