The project explores the role of processions as performative acts that shape urban identity through sound and space. By analyzing historical rituals, it aims to understand their emotional impact and social significance using interdisciplinary methods, including Virtual Reality and digital analysis.
Processions were quintessentially performative acts that infused a sense of identity among the urban community by linking the emblematic topography of the city and creating performative spaces of enhanced ritual activity and distinctive auditory landscapes.
