VirBAcous develops advanced numerical methods for predicting sound insulation in building materials, addressing the challenges posed by urbanization. The project aims to enhance design optimization in construction by providing reliable software tools for sound insulation prediction.
With urbanization accelerating on a global scale, airborne and impact sound insulation have become key performance quantities of building elements.
