The SOIL project aims to enhance the use of Fully Depleted Silicon On Insulator (FDSOI) technology in Europe, promoting semiconductor manufacturing for various applications. It focuses on developing advanced features and integrating design capabilities to strengthen the European semiconductor supply chain.
The European FDSOI family of technology platforms is recognized for its low power consumption, versatility, high radiation hardness, embedded non-volatile memories and exceptional radio frequency capabilities.
