This project develops a comprehensive method for designing future energy systems that integrate solar energy and Liquified Natural Gas cold energy using Organic Rankine Cycle technology. The aim is to enhance energy efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts.
Both renewable energy (e.g. solar energy) and conventional fuels (e.g.
Liquified Natural Gas (LNG)) play an important role in the future energy market.
Rising electricity demand, finite fossil fuel reserves and environmental concerns motivate the switch to renewable energy sources, increasing energy efficiency, and recovery of unused energy streams. I am determined to make my own contribution in dealing with these issues.
