The project develops incentive-based mechanisms for managing network traffic in overlay applications, enhancing efficiency and scalability for Internet Service Providers. It focuses on self-configuration and decentralized control, allowing for improved traffic management across diverse network overlays.
The use of mechanisms based on incentives for controlling and managing network traffic of overlay applications in the Internet is still in its early stages.
