This project aims to create a distributed solar-powered multi-energy hub that integrates electric vehicle charging and district heating. It seeks to enhance renewable energy use and alleviate grid stress while improving energy flexibility in thermal networks.
Transportation electrification and adoption of district heating (DH) are both critical technical approaches toward the European Union's (EU's) carbon neutrality goal in 2050.
