This project develops a new type of sensor for measuring electrical current, particularly in high voltage applications. Utilizing a patented magnetic field integration method, the sensor offers high accuracy and low costs, making it suitable for smart energy systems and various industrial applications.
Due to massive growth in the use of electric equipment and worldwide increase of the electrical distribution/consumption, the interest in sensors for electrical current measurement, particularly in high voltage levels, has increased significantly over the last decade.
Intensive research is carried out in this field.
