One of the most important challenges that drug development researchers face today is the low aqueous solubility of the active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
Most of the drug molecules under investigation exhibit poor water solubility and additional efforts are required to improve their solubility feature.
Thus, the development of amorphous drugs is the most effective way how to improve the bioavailability of the APIs, and huge amount of effort is directed towards this smart approach.
