The SiS.net project aims to enhance the effectiveness of National Contact Points in the Science in Society program by fostering collaboration among them. It builds on previous networks to improve services for stakeholders across Europe and beyond.
The range of the FP7 Science in Society (SiS) programme as well as the range of its stakeholders is extremely diverse.
This demands that the SiS National Contact Points (NCPs) are able to orientate in the wide area of policy and policy papers behind the SiS programme, programme topics and research areas as well as in FP7 rules and regulations and in addition, they need to have extensive knowledge of the different groups of stakeholders, in order to be able to fulfil their job.
