The SIPODET project aims to develop advanced chemical imaging techniques to study the microenvironments of coastal seagrass ecosystems. By measuring multiple chemical parameters simultaneously, it seeks to understand how these ecosystems respond to environmental changes.
Coastal seagrass ecosystems provide important services to nature and mankind in form of coastal protection, nursery grounds and carbon sequestration.
