This project aims to uncover the mechanisms of DNA replication termination and the associated replication stress that can lead to cancer and neurodegeneration. By using advanced imaging techniques, it seeks to observe the dynamics of replication forks and identify potential therapeutic targets.
Replication-stress is a key driving force of cancer development, neurodegeneration and ageing.
