This project investigates the mechanisms behind coeliac disease and its association with invasive lymphomas. By analyzing the tumor microenvironment and cellular responses, the research aims to identify potential therapeutic targets to improve treatment strategies for affected patients.
Coeliac disease is a chronic autoimmune-like enteropathy induced by dietary gluten in 0.5-2% Europeans. A rare but specific complication is the onset of invasive enteropathy-associated lymphomas.
