Energy IN TIME focuses on optimizing energy management in existing non-residential buildings. By integrating advanced modeling and simulation techniques, it aims to automate operational planning, thereby improving energy efficiency and reducing operational costs during the building's lifecycle.
Buildings Operational stage represents 80% of building’s life-cycle cost of which 50% is consequence of the energy use.
Up to 90% of the buildings’ life cycle carbon emissions occur during their operational phase, mainly as consequence of the HVAC, lighting and appliances’ energy use.
