The SimplyDisks project aims to enhance our understanding of planet formation by conducting global 3D simulations of protoplanetary disks. It investigates the interactions of dust, gas, and magnetic fields to uncover the processes that lead to planet formation in the outer regions of these disks.
Understanding how planets form in disks around young stars is a fundamental part of astrophysical research.
