The sHYpS project aims to decarbonize the shipping industry by developing a hydrogen-based solution adaptable to various vessels. It focuses on creating a novel hydrogen storage container and a modular powertrain using optimized fuel cells, facilitating a logistics system for hydrogen supply in maritime applications.
The general objective of sHYpS is to support the decarbonisation of the shipping industry, by leveraging on previous and on-going work and investment made by Viking and some consortium members.
