This project aims to innovate homogeneous catalysis by introducing a new concept called 'shuttle catalysis' for reversible chemical reactions. It focuses on developing safer catalytic processes for organic compound synthesis and bond metathesis, with applications in various chemical fields.
Homogeneous catalysis is one of the pillars of modern chemical synthesis because it enables the sustainable preparation of molecules that find applications in medicinal chemistry, agrochemistry, and materials science.
