The project introduces ShipTest, a robotic crawler designed for non-destructive testing of ship hulls while vessels are at sea. This technology aims to improve safety and efficiency in inspecting welds, addressing challenges in the marine industry.
The European ship fleet counts 23,000 vessels, accounting for the 40% of the global gross tonnage.
