SecuStack aims to enhance computer system security by addressing side-channel leaks that expose sensitive data. The project focuses on developing precise hardware-level leakage models and synthesizing software defenses, ultimately demonstrating practical applications like secure silicon roots of trust.
Problem:
Side-channel leaks via timing, cache, and speculation can expose sensitive information across traditional isolation barriers, putting our data at risk.
Unfortunately, despite decades-long attempts to eliminate these leaks, new attacks are discovered by the day.
