The SECURED project aims to enhance mobile device security by offloading security applications to network edge devices. This approach ensures consistent protection across various devices and networks, allowing users to maintain security policies regardless of their connection type.
Protection of mobile devices from Internet threats is usually achieved by installing appropriate tools (e.g. anti-virus, personal firewall, parental control) on each device.
