SEAMPHONI aims to enhance the monitoring of offshore marine biodiversity through innovative technologies like environmental DNA and imaging. The project seeks to create a digital twin of marine environments, improving conservation efforts and public engagement with marine ecosystems.
SEAMPHONI is dedicated to bringing visibility and safeguarding the vast and largely unprotected offshore marine areas.
Current approaches to offshore biodiversity mapping are highly dependent on research vessels and are therefore costly and do not allow for continuous monitoring.
