The Sea2See project aims to enhance seafood traceability by developing a comprehensive blockchain model. This model will facilitate data collection across the seafood value chain, promoting sustainable fishing practices and increasing consumer trust through innovative applications.
Current seafood traceability tools and services have the potential to take advantage of novel blockchain technologies to obtain a wide range of data making sustainable seafood practices more visible to consumers.
