This project studies how marine emissions from microorganisms affect cloud formation and properties. By investigating gas-phase emissions and nucleation processes, it aims to understand the role of oceans in climate regulation.
Earth, as a whole, can be considered as a living organism emitting gases and particles in its atmosphere, in order to regulate its own temperature (Lovelock, 1988).
