This project focuses on using robotic devices for home-based rehabilitation of stroke patients, specifically targeting hand and wrist exercises. It aims to enhance recovery through frequent, objective training while facilitating remote management and support for patients and clinicians.
Recent development in robot-mediated rehabilitation has shown the potential of robotic devices for delivering repetitive training thus allowing for a large number of repetitions to be delivered during acute and chronic phases of stroke rehabilitation.
